Mocha Cocoa Special Recipe
This Mocha Cocoa Special Recipe is warm, sweet, and the perfect pick-me-up on a cold winter day!
Try it with your favorite shortbread cookie for an extra special treat.
Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 4 Cups Milk
- 1/3 Cup Hot Water
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Hershey's Cocoa
- 1-2 Tbls. Instant Coffee, the strength is your preference.
Instructions
Mix sugar, cocoa, and salt in a medium saucepan.
Stir in water.
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
Add milk and stir. Heat until hot. Do Not Boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Beat with a whisk until foamy.
Garnish with marshmallows. (I would recommend this, but it's really optional).
Notes
The recipe may be doubled.
For the littles, you may want to leave out the Mocha, although that's the part that makes it "Mocha" Cocoa.
Maybe this should be considered an "adult" drink. It's up to you.
